Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Dedrone Finance team in Germany. This role involves performing month-end close processes and supporting global consolidation and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue and experience with US GAAP and HGB.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and HGB.
  • Support standard cost accounting process including accounting and analysis of variances.
  • Coordinate and support income tax returns, file VAT returns, and execute transfer pricing policy.
  • Conduct actual vs. budget analysis, prepare flux and month-end commentary, cash planning, and working capital management.
  • Generate and post accounts receivable invoices in accordance with revenue recognition under ASC606/IFRS 15.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with international teams.
  • Support intercompany accounting and settlement process.
  • Serve as a key contact for tax auditors, tax advisors, and internal/external auditors.
  • Support post-merger integration of Axon subsidiaries.
  • Participate in projects to optimize accounting activities and implement internal controls.
  • Perform and document month-end close controls.
  • Develop into a functional expert in Accounting on ERP (NetSuite/Salesforce) related topics.
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or a Finance-related professional education.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB.
  • Experience in post-merger integration, entity restructuring, and ERP-projects (Microsoft D365 and NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Experience with multiple deliverable contracts and accounting according to international revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Business fluent written and spoken English and German language skills.
  • Ability to constructively deal with conflicts and ambiguity.
  • Experience in internal controls and process optimization.
