Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Dedrone Finance team in Germany. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process, supporting global consolidation and financial reporting.Role responsibilities include:
  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and HGB.
  • Supporting standard cost accounting process including analysis of variances.
  • Coordinating and supporting income tax returns, VAT returns, and transfer pricing policy.
  • Conducting actual vs. budget analysis, preparing flux and month-end commentary, cash planning, and working capital management.
  • Generating and posting accounts receivable invoices in accordance with revenue recognition.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with international teams.
  • Supporting intercompany accounting and settlement processes.
  • Serving as a key contact for tax auditors, tax advisors, and internal/external auditors.
  • Supporting post-merger integration of Axon subsidiaries.
  • Participating in projects to optimize accounting activities and internal controls.
  • Performing and documenting month-end close controls.
  • Developing into a functional expert in Accounting on ERP-related topics.
Requirements include:
  • Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or a Finance-related professional education.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB.
  • Experience in post-merger integration and ERP projects.
  • Experience with multiple deliverable contracts and revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Business fluent English and German language skills.
  • Ability to constructively deal with conflicts and ambiguity.
  • Experience in internal controls and process optimization.
