Job Description
Angi is seeking a Staff Analyst, Sales Commissions to track and optimize the performance of their pro sales team. The Staff Analyst will leverage advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions and develop, monitor, and adjust compensation and commission plans. The role involves working closely with sales executives, sales operations teams, and product managers to determine optimal staffing levels, report on and analyze the performance of sales reps, and identify actions to optimize productivity and profitability.
What this role involves:
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reporting to monitor the performance of Angi’s sales organization
- Reviewing business, staffing, and turnover trends and develop forecasting models
- Designing and implementing sales commission plans
- Supporting the end-to-end sales compensation process
- Analyzing sales performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of commission plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or R
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Ability to build complex, but clear analytical models and forecasts in Excel and Google Sheets
