Job Description
Angi is seeking a Staff Analyst, Sales Commissions to optimize the performance of their pro sales team. The Staff Analyst will leverage advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions and develop, monitor, and adjust compensation and commission plans. This role involves close collaboration with sales executives, sales operations teams, and product managers to determine optimal staffing levels, report on and analyze the performance of sales representatives, and identify actions to optimize productivity and profitability. The Staff Analyst will also support priority initiatives and the launch of new tools to improve overall sales efficiency.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor the performance of Angi’s sales organization
  • Design and implement sales commission plans that align with company goals
  • Analyze sales performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of commission plans
  • Develop models to calculate profitability of sales rep activity
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, product, and marketing partners
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or R
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Experience developing and implementing sales and commission plans for a large sales organization
