Job Description
The Social Hub is seeking a Chef de Partie in Glasgow. This role involves taking ownership of a kitchen section, ensuring smooth operation during prep and service. The Chef de Partie will collaborate with the Sous and Head Chefs to deliver high-quality dishes, guide junior kitchen staff, and maintain a clean and organized station. What this role involves:
- Running a kitchen section with confidence.
- Delivering high-quality dishes.
- Supporting and training junior team members.
- Maintaining hygiene practices.
- Minimizing waste and following stock rotation.
- Adhering to food safety protocols.
- Collaborating with the team.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef background.
- Confidence running a kitchen section in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with digital kitchen tools.
- A team player mindset.
- Fluency in English.
