Gusto, a modern online people platform, is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to spearhead the go-to-market strategy for its suite of payroll, benefits, HR, and financial tools. This role involves translating customer insights into compelling positioning and actionable plans, ensuring each product launch drives significant impact. The Director will report to the Head of Product, Marketing & Partner Marketing and will lead a team of product marketers, collaborating closely with leaders across various departments.
Role Involves:
- Evolving Gusto’s portfolio-level positioning and messaging.
- Leading go-to-market strategy and execution across product areas.
- Synthesizing market research and customer insights.
- Managing and developing a team of product marketers.
- Driving cross-functional alignment and accountability.
- Defining success metrics and tracking performance.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in marketing, product marketing, or product management.
- 6+ years focused on product marketing.
- Proven success leading portfolio-level GTM strategy.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Deep experience with customer segmentation, positioning, and GTM planning.
