Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Contract IT Recruiter to join their team in Baroda, Gujarat, India. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top tech talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in technical hiring and a strong understanding of software development roles and technologies.

Role involves:

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand technical job requirements and team goals.
  • Sourcing candidates through various channels including job portals, social media, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Screening and shortlisting candidates based on technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Scheduling and coordinating technical interviews, follow-ups, and feedback with both candidates and internal teams.
  • Maintaining candidate databases and track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, etc.).
  • Managing the offer process including negotiations, background checks, and onboarding support.
  • Keeping up-to-date with emerging tech trends and talent market dynamics.
  • Building strong pipelines for recurring roles and niche skill sets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT/technical recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of software development roles and technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, DevOps, Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Must be local of Pune
  • Must be willing to work on contractual role
