Job Description
Melio is seeking a Risk Operations Specialist to join their team. This role is based in New York City and operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office. The Risk Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in protecting Melio from fraudulent activities and managing risks associated with their payment platform. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to handle escalations, communicate with end-users, and contribute to the development of new data sources and processes.

The role involves:
  • Handling frontline fraud and policy decisioning.
  • Managing escalations related to risk decisioning.
  • Completing Zendesk tickets and written communications.
  • Communicating with end users via phone.
  • Creating leads for new data sources, processes, and segmentation.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience within risk, customer experience, or payment operations, ideally in the fintech space.
  • 1+ years of experience working with ZenDesk.
  • Experience maintaining personal and group KPIs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively problem solve.
