[Foundation Platform] Senior Software Engineer Go

Stone Tech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer Go to join their Platform Engineering team. Stone Tech aims to transform the payments industry by providing solutions for entrepreneurs in Brazil. The company values autonomy, proactivity, and continuous development in a team-oriented environment.

The Platform Engineering team standardizes and simplifies software development, ensuring an optimal development experience. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to critical systems, monitor performance, document changes, and maintain production systems with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining new functionalities.
• Developing in critical systems.
• Monitoring system performance and changes.
• Documenting changes.
• Creating and maintaining production systems.

Requirements:

• Experience with code and documentation inspections.
• Ability to question architecture and development process gaps.
• Experience implementing automated unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) with a focus on performance and best practices.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and automated pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and service communication practices (REST, gRPC, messaging).
• Experience with monitoring and observability systems, preferably Datadog.
• Ability to collaborate in Code Reviews.
