Job Description
Convera is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their team in Vilnius. This role involves performing daily reconciliations to ensure the accounting system accurately reflects transactions. The Accounting Associate will monitor bank activities, maintain account reconciliations, investigate open items, and propose solutions in collaboration with team members. They will also be responsible for data collection and analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and resolving issues promptly. The role also includes general ledger entries.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring bank activities and maintaining appropriate accounts reconciliations
- Investigating open items and proposing solutions by working alongside other team members
- Obtaining/entering the appropriate information in the system and manipulating various Excel spreadsheets
- Performing data collection and analysis in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensuring regulations are adhered to and proper action is taken to resolve issues in a timely matter
- General ledger entries
Requirements:
- Good spoken and written English abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
