Job Description
Astera Labs is seeking a Customer Program Manager (CPM) to lead engineering and operational activities for the design-in, qualification, and release to manufacturing of its products at key customers. This role is crucial for achieving critical revenue goals and requires a candidate passionate about product transformation from prototype to mass production. The CPM will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring on-time, on-spec, and high-quality product delivery.
Role involves:
- Managing customer feedback and ensuring expectations are exceeded.
- Planning schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Managing the delivery of engineering and customer samples.
- Conducting regular meetings to address issues and maintain alignment.
- Advocating for programs and maintaining stakeholder alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a semiconductor or electronics product company.
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager; PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with PCI-E, memory, or data communication products.
- Technical understanding of engineering flows and hardware/firmware/software design.
- Strong program management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and program management tools.
- Ability to motivate teams and make timely decisions under stress.
- Ability to travel to Astera Labs’ sites and customer locations.
