Job Description
Axon is seeking a Technician Supervisor to lead a team of Automation Technicians in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is crucial for maintaining production equipment and ensuring optimal performance and uptime. The Supervisor will report to the Senior Manager of Assets Reliability and will be responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance, communicating equipment status, and troubleshooting malfunctions. Role involves:
  • Supervising equipment maintenance for manufacturing operations.
  • Communicating equipment status to line leads and supervisors.
  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and determining corrective actions.
  • Managing work orders in the CMMS.
  • Determining equipment spare parts needs.
  • Participating in process reviews.
  • Engaging in problem-solving and brainstorming.
  • Following Environmental Health and Safety guidelines.

Requirements:
  • A GED or an Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Strong automation, mechanical, and pneumatic knowledge.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supervisor in technical manufacturing.
  • Experience with automated assembly equipment (preferred).
  • Experience with high volume automated systems (preferred).
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
