Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their Business Banking value stream within the R&D department. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of a production-ready banking platform. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team of UX designers, software engineers, QA engineers, and technical writers. The candidate will contribute to new and existing functionalities, proof of concepts, and technical improvements for the Engagement Banking Platform.
Role Involves:
- Contributing to new and existing functionalities.
- Developing proof of concepts.
- Implementing technical improvements.
- Participating in the entire software development life cycle.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant working experience on complex products.
- Solid background in software development including design.
- Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, CI, and CD.
- Knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with containerization.
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
