Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Sales team, focusing on Wealth Management and Private Banking sectors in Singapore and Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will drive digital transformation opportunities with new customers, manage sales cycles, and exceed sales goals. This role involves building relationships with customers, understanding their business drivers, and establishing buy-in at all levels.
- Carrying a sales quota within the Asia sales team.
- Setting objectives and planning to achieve targets.
- Building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities.
- Managing and closing large software agreements ($2M+ ARR).
- Forecasting and managing net-new opportunities.
- Leading customers towards value-focused digital strategies.
- Establishing a trusted advisor role with wealth managers.
- Aggregating requirements from customers to craft business cases.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of the Wealth & Private Banking industry.
- 10+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role with a track record of exceeding quota.
- 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role dealing with wealth managers or private banks.
- Extensive network of industry contacts.
- Ability to reverse engineer business objectives.
