Job Description
The company is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead in the development of their digital banking platform. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality products and promoting quality within the team, aligning with the QA Guild's standards. The Senior QA Engineer will be integral to ensuring quality solutions throughout the product development cycle.
Role Involves:
- Creating initial test strategies based on the QA Guild's overall Test Strategy.
- Presenting and justifying test strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- Conducting test plans and defining test designs for complex technological concepts.
- Developing and executing manual and automated tests for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensuring automation testing aligns with standardized tools and languages.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with product owners and team members.
- Driving discussions with clients and stakeholders using test evidence and defect metrics.
- Understanding and working with tooling in environments and CI/CD.
- Contributing to the Chapter and Guild by defining internal QA goals.
- Serving as a point of contact for all QA activities.
- Assisting in the selection, onboarding, and mentoring of new QA hires.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in a QA role.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
