Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their FP&A team in Prague. This role is crucial for supporting strategic decisions related to investments and business aspects of R&D teams. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for driving short and medium-term planning and forecasting, enhancing operational efficiencies, and aiding in business decision-making. The role also involves improving financial processes and collaborating with various finance teams.

Role involves:
  • Partnering with Business Units and other G&A organizations to develop and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Consolidating operating expenses and capital expenditure across the organization.
  • Identifying key drivers to spend and making optimization recommendations.
  • Monitoring, optimizing, and reporting on the entire investment stack.
  • Reconciling key top-line metrics at a granular level.
  • Supporting the BU-wide annual and long-range planning processes.
  • Managing and mentoring high-performing individuals on the team.

Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and modeling with strong Excel skills.
  • BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent; MBA a plus.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally through strong relationship building, influencing, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • 6-8 years of progressively complex roles in a financial function with financial planning and analysis experience.
  • Prior experience in managing high-functioning teams.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across geographies.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills.
