Senior Staff Software Development Engineer

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to join their Identity & Access Management team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will help manage digital risk by applying security through identity integration and controls. Zscaler is the world’s largest security cloud, accelerates digital transformation so enterprises can be more agile, efficient, resilient, and secure.This role involves:

• Designing and developing enterprise-grade Identity Management Products.
• Participating in the design and implementation of core product functionality and key technical initiatives.
• Mentoring junior engineers with best practices.
• Collaborating across teams to deliver projects from inception to production.
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive working culture.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based application architecture and development.
• Expertise in creating enterprise-grade Security or Networking products.
• Strong expertise in Identity and Access Management protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Expert-level proficiency in Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, related frameworks like Hibernate and Spring, and CI/CD tools and processes.
• Knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure would be a plus.
• Experience about Java reactive programming would be a plus.
