Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join their Identity & Access Management team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will help manage digital risk by applying security through identity integration and controls. Zscaler is a cloud security leader, serving thousands of enterprise customers globally. They are known for their pioneering Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™ platform and commitment to innovation.
The role involves:
- Leading the development of identity management products.
- Participating in the design and implementation of core product functionality.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive working culture.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in developing large-scale commercial networking applications.
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Expert-level knowledge in Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, frameworks like Hibernate and Spring, and CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience with SQL and Postgres.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, and TCP/IP.
- Experience in the complete software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, and SSO (preferred).
- Knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure (a plus).
