Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Operations

Job Description

DeepIntent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Engineering Operations team in Pune, India. This role serves as the engineering interface between customer-facing teams, analytics, and engineering, resolving platform issues and standardizing data retrieval for analysts. The Senior Software Engineer will master data architectures and pharma research methodologies to contribute significantly to health media analysis. They will build mastered data versions for analytics, monitor ETL jobs, and implement DataOps practices. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is inquisitive and constantly seeks to improve the business facets they manage, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and partner with others.Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Engineering interface between customer facing team along with Analytics and Engineering teams
• Help customer facing teams such as Platform Support, Client Success, etc in resolving the reported Platform issues
• Develop and standardize all interface points for analysts to retrieve and analyze data
• Build "mastered" versions of the data for Analytics specific querying use cases
• Help with ETL job monitoring and take corrective action on job failures
• Interpret analytics methodology requirements and apply to data architecture
• Implement DataOps practices
• Collaborate with various business stakeholders, software engineers, machine learning engineers, analysts

Requirements:

• Proficient with Java and API
• Experience debugging Java code
• Adept in market research methodologies
• Basic SQL experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• English Language Fluency
• Experience working in L2/L3 Product/Technical Support role
• Experience working with Data pipelines serving high volume and velocity data
• Experience working with public clouds like GCP/AWS
• Good understanding of software engineering, DataOps, and data architecture, Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Comfortable to work in EST Time Zone
