Team Lead - Record to Report (RTR) - Thai Speaker - WPP SSC MY

Job Description

WPP is seeking a Team Lead for Record to Report (RTR) to manage period closing activities, fixed asset management, and financial reporting for its APAC subsidiaries. The role involves leading a team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of general accounting, statutory accounting, and tax services. The Team Lead will also drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of competence and customer focus.Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of accounting and reporting services.
• Oversee month-end RTR processes.
• Manage escalations from stakeholders.
• Liaise with external parties.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide RTR-related advice and support to staff.
• Train new team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA etc).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in RTR operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of SOX Compliance norms.
• Shared service centre experience.
• Experience in using an ERP system.
• Proficient in English and Thai.
