The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the employee lifecycle and building strong people programs, collaborating closely with the Director of HR. The HR Generalist role involves:

  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with Canadian employment laws.
  • Maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Managing HRIS and personnel files.
  • Processing payroll changes.
  • Managing the recruitment process from job postings to offer letters.

Requirements for the role include:

  • 3+ years of HR experience in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Pursuing CHRP certification or similar HR designation.
  • Experience in a start-up setting.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
