Senior Sales & Business Development Executive – Maritime & Logistics Asia

Job Description

Nexxiot, a company digitalizing freight asset management, is seeking a Senior Sales & Business Development Executive to expand its market presence in Asia. This role involves establishing and growing Nexxiot’s presence with maritime and intermodal logistics operators. The ideal candidate will be based in Singapore or Taipei and will be responsible for closing complex, high-value deals.Role involves:

• Growing Nexxiot’s presence in greenfield or underpenetrated market segments.
• Targeting key maritime and logistics players.
• Defining regional channel strategies, recruiting partners, and managing performance.
• Driving the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
• Developing creative deal structures and exploring co-investments or partnerships.
• Maintaining high standards in CRM usage for tracking pipeline, activity, and reporting.
• Sharing market intelligence, deal learnings, and customer insights to refine strategy.
• Representing Nexxiot at conferences, webinars, and industry forums.
• Translating complex technical features into clear business benefits.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in the maritime/logistics industry.
• Established network within target sectors and proven access to executive-level decision-makers.
• Proven track record of closing multi-million dollar enterprise deals.
• Expertise in structuring complex transactions and long sales cycles.
• Understanding of IoT, SaaS, and data-driven technologies in logistics is preferred.
• High-energy self-starter capable of working independently in a remote and international setup.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English. Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Creative, adaptable, and resilient in navigating dynamic environments.
