Nexxiot is seeking a Senior Sales & Business Development Executive to expand its market presence in Europe, focusing on maritime and intermodal logistics operators. This role involves driving market expansion, targeting key industry players, and establishing channel partnerships. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-growth, international environment and demonstrate the ability to close complex, high-value deals.
Grow Nexxiot’s presence in greenfield or underpenetrated market segments
Define regional channel strategies, recruit partners, and manage performance.
Build credibility with key stakeholders and convert relationships into commercial outcomes with the objective to achieve a Total Contract Value (TCV) of at least USD 100 million within 24 months.
Drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
Tailor compelling value propositions leveraging Nexxiot’s IoT technology.
Develop creative deal structures and explore co-investments or partnerships where applicable.
Maintain high standards in CRM usage (e.g., Pipedrive) for tracking pipeline, activity, and reporting.
Work closely with the global maritime and logistics sales team and cross-functional stakeholders.
Share market intelligence, deal learnings, and customer insights to refine strategy.
Contribute actively to a collaborative, transparent, and feedback-driven team culture.
Stay up to date on trends, regulations, and innovations in maritime logistics and IoT.
Represent Nexxiot at conferences, webinars, and industry forums.
Translate complex technical features into clear business benefits.
Requirements:
Strong experience in the maritime/logistics industry with a deep understanding of commercial and operational drivers.
Established network within target sectors and proven access to executive-level decision-makers.
Proven track record of closing multi-million dollar enterprise deals as well as smaller fast-track opportunities.
Expertise in structuring complex transactions and long sales cycles.
Experience with sales pipeline management tools and KPI tracking.
Understanding of IoT, SaaS, and data-driven technologies in logistics is preferred.
Ability to contextualize technology into actionable business use cases.
High-energy self-starter capable of working independently in a remote and international setup.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and additional languages are a strong plus.
Creative, adaptable, and resilient in navigating dynamic environments.
