Job Description
Industrious is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to build foundational security capabilities at a company that prioritizes trust, privacy, and scalable systems. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for internal security operations, tooling implementation, and driving best practices in cloud security, identity management, user awareness and data retention. This is a hybrid role that can be based in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago or Miami, and will be expected to work from our local market hub office 1-2 days per week.What this role involves:
  • Owning and evolving day-to-day security operations across corporate and cloud environments
  • Supporting incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts
  • Performing vulnerability assessments and track mitigation plans
  • Leading security configuration reviews and monitoring across Google Workspace, AWS, and endpoint systems
  • Coordinating with Tech and managed service providers on security tasks and escalations
  • Helping evaluate, implement, and configure security tooling (e.g., EDR, MDM, SASE, CASB)
  • Building and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with compliance goals
  • Helping plan and support future implementation of identity and access solutions (e.g., Okta)
  • Participating in vendor risk assessments and third-party reviews
  • Conducting internal phishing simulations, awareness campaigns, and training
  • Monitoring and reporting on key security metrics to leadership
What company is looking for:
  • 4+ years of experience in an information security role (or equivalent hands-on experience in IT with security focus)
  • Experience securing and administering Google Workspace and AWS environments
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, least privilege principles, and modern authentication methods (e.g., SSO, MFA)
  • Familiarity with Okta or similar identity platforms
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance programs (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable writing policies and documentation and communicating security concepts to non-technical teams
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
What role offers:
  • Annual base compensation range for this role is between $130,000 - $150,000
