Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join their team in Ghent, Belgium. This role involves transforming how restaurants operate by using a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs. The ideal candidate will understand the unique needs of these businesses and develop customized solutions to help them thrive. The Field Account Executive will play a crucial role in building the Lightspeed brand in their local area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating lists of prospective restaurants and managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Conducting demos and developing solutions tailored to prospect needs.
  • Partnering with internal teams to ensure expectations are met.
  • Leveraging Salesforce CRM to manage sales activities.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and positioning Lightspeed effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sourcing or closing customers, restaurant operations, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Self-motivation, creativity, and flexibility.
  • General technical proficiency with software; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
