Job Description
Lush is seeking a People Experience Specialist to guide and advise staff in North America. The People Experience Specialist will play a crucial role in employee relations, ensuring fair application of employment policies, and navigating employment situations. This role involves upholding Lush's culture and values, growing talent through coaching, and ensuring compliance and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve performance and employee relations challenges.
- Support the hiring process and ensure internal customers are knowledgeable.
- Advise Lush employees on various questions and topics.
- Facilitate dialogue to resolve conflicts and assess complaints objectively.
- Promote wellbeing resources and work with the benefits team.
- Maintain expert knowledge of emergency protocols and safety procedures.
- Support the return-to-work process for employees.
- Support staff and managers in time and attendance best practices.
- Maintain expert knowledge of policies, procedures, and current Lush events.
- Collect and report on relevant data and trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years direct employee relations experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment law (Ontario).
- Ability to conduct unbiased investigations.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and GSuite.
- Available to work onsite 3 days per week.
