Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optician to join their team in Natick, MA. The Licensed Optician will play a vital role in helping people see by providing extraordinary customer service and expertise in eyewear. They will work with both new and returning customers, ensuring they are excited and confident about their glasses. The ideal candidate is a lifelong learner who is passionate about helping Warby Parker grow.
What this role involves:
- Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear with accuracy.
- Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
- Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
- Collaborating with the team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Helping customers choose the best frames and lenses.
- Representing the Warby Parker brand and educating others about its values and mission.
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
- Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
- Clear, effective, and professional communication skills.
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
- Energetic, positive team player who can adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
- Open-minded and eager to learn.
- Takes work seriously, but not themselves.
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
