Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optician for their new store opening in Portsmouth, NH. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, helping customers with their eyewear needs, and ensuring accurate measurements and fittings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the eyewear industry, a strong communicator, and a team player.

Role Involves:
  • Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
  • Taking and recording measurements for eyewear.
  • Adjusting and fitting eyewear with accuracy.
  • Checking finished eyewear to meet standards.
  • Explaining prescription terminology to customers.
  • Helping customers choose frames and lenses.
  • Collaborating with the team to improve customer service.
  • Representing the Warby Parker brand.

Requirements:
  • Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
  • Passionate about eyewear and retail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Energetic and positive team player.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Open-minded and eager to learn.
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
