Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor (Optical Keyholder) to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves creating excellent customer experiences by utilizing optical skills, a friendly attitude, and product knowledge. The Optical Supervisor will assist both new and returning customers, ensuring they are satisfied with Warby Parker glasses.

Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
  • Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
  • Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
  • Explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
  • Set the store up for success by ensuring operational, service, and staff zoning procedures are followed.
  • Drive store vision and sales by providing excellent service and being the main contact for questions.
  • Work with store management to lead and mentor the Optical team.
  • Help maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
  • Foster a positive employee culture.

Requirements:
  • Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
  • 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
  • Passionate about eyewear and retail.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Dedicated to customer and teammate satisfaction.
  • Energetic, positive team player.
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
