Job Description

Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Optometric Technician to work alongside Optometrists and provide excellent patient experiences. The Optometric Technician will manage a high volume of patients, conduct pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, deliver video-assisted eye exams, collect data, and ensure smooth eye exam operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between doctor and patient
  • Perform preliminary clinical data collection
  • Support in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments
  • Support new contact lens wearers through insertion and removal training
  • Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare reports for medical professionals
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain an organized exam room
  • Support the retail sales team
