Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Optometric Technician to work alongside Optometrists and provide excellent patient experiences. The Optometric Technician will manage a high volume of patients, conduct pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, deliver video-assisted eye exams, collect data, and ensure smooth eye exam operations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between doctor and patient
- Perform preliminary clinical data collection
- Support in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments
- Support new contact lens wearers through insertion and removal training
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records
- Prepare reports for medical professionals
- Ensure adherence to regulations and company procedures
- Maintain an organized exam room
- Support the retail sales team
