Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Optometric Technician to work closely with Optometrists and provide excellent patient experiences. The Optometric Technician will manage a high volume of patients, conduct pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, and ensure smooth eye exam operations. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual with excellent multitasking and communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary liaison between doctor and patient.
- Performing preliminary clinical data collection.
- Supporting in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments.
- Supporting new contact lens wearers through insertion and removal training.
- Managing patient flow and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensuring adherence to governmental regulations and privacy policies.
- Maintaining an organized exam room.
- Supporting the retail sales team as directed by the Store Leader.
