Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join their team in Malta. This role is crucial for maintaining financial record-keeping and reporting systems, and assisting with ad-hoc reporting. The Senior Finance Officer will report to the Financial Reporting Manager.
Role involves:
- Maintaining financial records, including processing invoices and payments.
- Recording accruals and prepayments, and reconciling balances.
- Assisting in the annual budget process for operational expenditure.
- Updating journals and uploading/posting in Microsoft Business Central.
- Assisting in day-to-day tasks relating to vendor payouts and queries.
- Assisting in analysis as required.
- Liaising with auditors and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
- Assisting in other Finance related tasks.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA or Master’s in Finance).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Fluent in English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (an asset).
- Experienced in finance processes and systems enhancements (an asset).
- Understanding accounting terminology.
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical thinking and teamwork skills.
