Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join their team in Malta. This role is crucial for maintaining financial record-keeping and reporting systems, and assisting with ad-hoc reporting. The Senior Finance Officer will report to the Financial Reporting Manager.

Role involves:
  • Maintaining financial records, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Recording accruals and prepayments, and reconciling balances.
  • Assisting in the annual budget process for operational expenditure.
  • Updating journals and uploading/posting in Microsoft Business Central.
  • Assisting in day-to-day tasks relating to vendor payouts and queries.
  • Assisting in analysis as required.
  • Liaising with auditors and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Assisting in other Finance related tasks.

Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or Master’s in Finance).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (an asset).
  • Experienced in finance processes and systems enhancements (an asset).
  • Understanding accounting terminology.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical thinking and teamwork skills.
