Job Description
SoundHound AI is seeking a Sales Director, Enterprise Healthcare to expand its presence in the healthcare sector. The Sales Director will drive revenue growth, market expansion, and develop lasting partnerships with key healthcare clients. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and tactical execution, reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales. The Sales Director will work cross-functionally to achieve company objectives and directly manage the sales process from lead generation through deal closure.
- Driving sales to meet and exceed revenue targets within the healthcare sector.
- Managing relationships with key healthcare accounts and stakeholders.
- Delivering impactful presentations to healthcare executives.
- Executing a "land and expand" strategy.
- Collaborating with Product and Marketing teams.
- Building, managing, qualifying, and closing deals within a rolling 12-month sales pipeline.
- Identifying and utilizing appropriate contract vehicles.
- Engaging cross-functional SoundHound resources.
- Utilizing data and analytics to enhance sales strategy.
- Partnering with the Customer Success team.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Staying informed on healthcare industry trends.
- Taking a leadership role in industry trade associations and attending relevant events.
- Actively participating in the RFP process.
- Assisting in contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales in the healthcare industry.
- Proven record of selling complex software solutions to healthcare executives.
- Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Consultative sales approach.
- Strong knowledge of Contact Center tools and processes.
- Experience working with autonomic, cognitive, and analytic solutions (preferred).
- Success in prospecting, building a pipeline, and presenting solutions to C-level executives.
- Ability to craft solutions that align with business priorities.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of 20+ opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
