Job Description
Roofstock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain rental properties in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, technically skilled, and technologically proficient. This role services multiple properties in the Conyers and Stockbridge, GA area.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance on apartments and single-family homes.
- Completing thorough inspections of buildings, units, and homes.
- Ensuring HVAC systems are operational and performing maintenance.
- Preparing vacant units for new move-ins.
- Responding to on-call and after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- HVAC Type II Certification required, Universal Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Two or more years of direct building maintenance experience.
- Experience as a contractor, construction worker, or mechanic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to use systems for tracking, scheduling, and communications.
