SpotOn is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join their Financial Services Domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-stack development, specializing in Python and React/TypeScript. This role is crucial for scaling SpotOn's software stack, enhancing its availability, performance, and scalability.

The Staff Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement solutions that meet business objectives. They will also lead initiatives to enhance the reliability and resilience of SpotOn's systems through effective monitoring, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.

This role involves:

• Architecting, designing, and developing scalable solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Leading initiatives to enhance system reliability.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
• Driving technical innovation.
• Contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
• Acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements include:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong skills in Python and React/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and implementing software for highly regulated systems.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience scaling distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
