Job Description
Archer, an aerospace company, is seeking a Director of Infrastructure to lead the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing IT service providers, projects, and strategic objectives related to IT service domains. The Director will maintain strong relationships with business leaders and collaborate with IT leaders across the company. They will also develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, assess infrastructure improvements, and ensure IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.
What this role involves:
- Directing a team that manages IT service providers, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining strong relationships with business leaders across functions.
- Collaborating with IT leaders across the company to deliver solutions.
- Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Establishing metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements.
- Developing and implementing infrastructure technology strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Security or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of Infrastructure and Virtualization Support Experience
- 7+ years of leadership in enterprise environments with 1,000+ users
- 5+ years; experience with Cloud Strategy, security, risk management, and disaster recovery
- Strong skills with GSuite products, Office365, Azure, the Microsoft Security Stack, and their infrastructure components, Linux, Storage, and Network technologies
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong capabilities in disaster recovery planning, backup solutions, and business continuity processes
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience with ServiceNOW or similar IT Service Management System
- Familiar with ITIL, COBIT, or similar framework for managing IT infrastructure departments
- Strong Experience with NIST or similar security framework
- Complex manufacturing industry experience
