Job Description

Golin is seeking a Channel Planning Manager to play a key role in shaping the Channel Planning discipline at its Dallas office. The Channel Planning Manager will work directly with senior leaders in strategy, creative, and analytics to develop integrated solutions that promote and protect brands.

The role involves leading and managing integrated work across earned media, influencer, channel strategy, and paid media. The Channel Planning Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring strategic alignment, consistent execution, and strong partnerships across the team.

Golin offers hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to collaborate in-person three days a week at the Dallas office and flexibility for remote work.

What This Role Involves:

  • Leading planning and execution of paid and organic social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Partnering with strategy and creative teams to build audience-first, culturally relevant campaigns
  • Collaborating across earned, influencer, paid and creative workstreams to ensure integrated delivery
  • Presenting plans and performance updates clearly and confidently to clients
  • Using analytics tools to monitor performance and optimize campaigns to meet goals
  • Tracking trends, platform updates, and cultural shifts to keep campaigns fresh and effective
  • Staying connected with platform reps to access new tools, products, features, and insights
  • Managing campaign budgets, timelines, and reporting
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Contributing to department growth by helping shape new processes and approaches within Channel Planning
  • Working on large, fast-moving accounts with exposure to new business opportunities

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, media planning, or social strategy
  • Deep understanding of paid and organic social media ecosystems, including platform-specific best practices and ad formats
  • Hands-on experience executing paid media campaigns and managing social content strategy
  • Comfort with performance analytics, reporting, and key media KPIs
  • Proven ability to connect cultural trends with brand strategy and campaign execution
  • Experience managing influencer activations and integrating them into broader media strategies is a plus
  • A passion for internet culture, emerging platforms, and the ever-evolving digital landscape
  • Strong presentation, writing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A self-starter attitude with a desire to grow and lead
