Systems Engineer

Job Description

2K is seeking a Systems Engineer to support, enhance, and optimize its critical source control infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the Perforce environment through proactive management, automation, and collaboration with software development and tools engineering teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and highly collaborative. The Systems Engineer will:

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize Perforce Helix Core infrastructure.
• Administer server configurations, triggers, permissions, and integrations.
• Implement best practices for reliability, data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development and tools engineering teams.
• Provide expert-level training, support, and troubleshooting for development teams using Perforce.
• Develop detailed documentation on system architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
• Monitor performance and resource utilization, proactively addressing bottlenecks.
• Automate routine administrative tasks and maintain infrastructure as code repositories.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of systems engineering experience specifically with Perforce Helix Core.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex system performance and operational issues.
• Proficient in automation and scripting.
• Strong collaboration skills.
