2K is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to specialize in Perforce Helix Core. This role involves leading efforts to define and enhance the company's critical source control infrastructure. The ideal candidate will design robust, scalable systems, drive strategic improvements, and foster operational maturity in close collaboration with development, platform engineering, and infrastructure teams. They should also possess strong leadership and mentoring skills.
What this role involves:
- Architecting, optimizing, and maintaining Perforce Helix Core infrastructure.
- Guiding architectural decisions related to server configurations and disaster recovery.
- Providing technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
- Collaborating with development and tools engineering teams to refine synchronization strategies.
- Offering expert-level troubleshooting, training, and support.
- Driving automation initiatives and scripting efforts.
- Monitoring and analyzing system performance.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of systems engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of expertise in Perforce Helix Core.
- Demonstrated ability to implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency with automation and scripting.
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills.
