Job Description
YouGov is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join their team in Nuremberg, Germany. This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office and offers a mix of collaboration and home-based productivity. The HR Generalist will provide end-to-end HR operational support to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and collective bargaining agreements. They will also be a key point of contact for employees and line managers in assigned European countries, supporting them throughout the entire employee lifecycle.Role involves:
  • Providing HR operational support to employees and managers
  • Managing employee lifecycle activities
  • Serving as a key point of contact for employees and line managers
  • Onboarding new starters
  • Managing employee-related changes
  • Providing advice and administering family leave policies
  • Overseeing the termination process
  • Supporting monthly payroll administration
  • Benefit administration
  • Processing termination cases
  • Leave management and preparation of reports
  • Producing offer letters and employment contracts
  • Supporting annual promotion and pay review processes
  • Utilizing Workday as the HRIS
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborating with HR teams
  • Reviewing processes and suggesting improvements
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in HR operations in Germany
  • Fluent German language skills (C1 / C2 Level) & English language skills (C1/C2 level)
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws
  • Demonstrable experience using Workday as an HRIS
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Agile and adaptable

  • Personable with great communication skills
