Banyan Software is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing software consolidator and work with high-quality software businesses. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager and will be involved in all aspects of finance operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets, and KPIs.
Perform quality assurance on finance and accounting work products.
Contribute to the operational performance of operating companies through analysis.
Partner with M&A colleagues and support the operational / financial integration of acquisitions.
Implement process improvement initiatives.
Develop ad hoc reports & dashboards.
Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Provide financial advice and guidance to business as requested.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a finance/accounting role.
Accounting designation, with an academic background in accounting or finance ideally.
Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct or QuickBooks is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Highly motivated and energetic with interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance.
Fluency in Spanish, French, Dutch, Swedish or Finnish would be advantageous.
