MERGE is seeking an Associate Creative Director-Copy to join their team in New York, NY. This role involves merging storytelling and technology to help clients solve business challenges. The Associate Creative Director will work with an Art partner to ideate concepts, build brands, and execute layout designs for various communications, both print and digital. They will create solutions that impact clients' businesses and people's health. The role requires consistently creating and inspiring others to create award-winning creative solutions.
Role involves: - Developing ideas for how brands and organizations can make a meaningful difference in the Life Science space.
- Judging creative work and providing constructive feedback.
- Delivering presentations to clients, account, and creative leads.
- Gaining thorough knowledge of brand goals, positioning, market, and competitors.
- Collaborating with client service, project management, and editorial teams.
- Supervising the work of 2-4 employees.
- Leading new business pitches.
Requirements: - 8-10 years of experience in an advertising agency with 6+ years of Life Science industry copywriting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or equivalent.
- Strong experience across print, OOH, social, broadcast, digital video, email, landing pages, native, digital banners, and experiential tactics.
- Online portfolio showcasing ability to interpret briefs, develop concepts, and write for all mediums, particularly for healthcare/providers.
- Excellent and versatile writing skills.
- Ability to think conceptually and execute strategically.
- Expert level of direct response writing and knowledge of web & digital media production.
- Excellent presentation skills and strong attention to detail.
