Job Description

Ília is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join their team. Ília specializes in technology, data, and design, driving digital transformation for major market players for over 10 years. With over 450 professionals in Brazil and Europe, they develop high-quality digital products focused on business results.

The Senior Android Developer will ensure high performance and security, adhering to Android platform practices. They will work with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, and modern Android ecosystem libraries. The role involves participating in technical planning, code reviews, and supporting the team with best practices. Automating build, test, and deployment processes using Bitrise and other CI/CD tools, as well as maintaining robust testing and monitoring with Firebase, are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring high performance and security on the Android platform.
  • Working with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, and modern Android libraries.
  • Participating in technical planning and code reviews.
  • Automating build, test, and deploy processes with CI/CD tools.
  • Maintaining robust testing and monitoring with Firebase.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Kotlin, including DSLs and clean code practices.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose, animations, and Custom Views.
  • Knowledge of modern architectures (MVVM, MVI, modularization).
  • Advanced understanding of performance (profiling, memory leaks) and mobile security (OWASP Mobile Top 10).
  • Experience with RESTful API integration.
  • Proficiency in Coroutines, Flow, and libraries like RxJava and WorkManager.
  • Solid experience with Gradle (optimizations, custom tasks, build flavors).
  • Experience with CI/CD using Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Fluency in Git (Gitflow, PRs, code review).
  • Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.
  • Experience with testing (unit and UI with Espresso) and TDD/BDD practices.
  • Familiarity with code quality analysis tools like SonarQube and Codacy.
  • Experience in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
