Job Description
Grafana Labs is seeking a Major Account Executive, Growth to expand business in the West region. The Major Account Executive will identify, nurture, and close opportunities with existing customers. They will manage forecasts and track customer data, employing a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs. Grafana Labs is looking for someone to articulate the value of Grafana's products, collaborate during trial phases, and ensure a smooth handover to the Customer Success team.Role involves:
- Identifying new opportunities to expand Grafana usage within current customers.
- Meeting and exceeding individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Managing all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, and negotiations.
- Cultivating sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
- Understanding and conveying the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
- Managing the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
- Handling quote creation, order processing, and customer requests.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales.
- Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement.
- Energetic, upbeat, and adaptable team player.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Familiarity with open source technology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
