Job Description

iHerb is seeking a Vice President of Merchandising to lead the development and execution of the company's merchandising and purchasing strategy. This role reports to the SVP of Merchandising and holds P&L responsibility, shaping the company’s strategic direction. The VP will manage a high-performing merchandising team and collaborate with various departments to achieve business goals. Success requires visionary thinking, operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and strong supplier negotiations.Responsibilities:

• Define and implement merchandising strategies for assortment optimization and category growth.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle management.
• Develop data-driven vendor negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing on brand-building initiatives and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee the creation and execution of customer-centric product and brand strategies.
• Provide strategic insights through advanced analytics.
• Guide cross-functional efforts to improve inventory flow and reduce costs.
• Develop frameworks for vendor communications.
• Contribute to company-wide growth strategies and annual budgeting.
• Facilitate regular performance reviews with senior leadership.
