Launch Potato is seeking a Director of Syndication at FinanceBuzz to define and lead content strategy across platforms like MSN and Apple News. The Director will set the editorial vision, refine brand voice, and create a roadmap for revenue and audience growth. This role involves data analysis, content strategy development, and hands-on involvement in daily execution, including sprint planning, editing, and headline writing. The Director will oversee a high-performing editorial team, mentor senior staff, and make data-driven decisions to maximize impact.
Role involves:
- Defining and leading content strategy across syndication platforms.
- Maintaining FinanceBuzz’s editorial voice and excellence.
- Monitoring performance data to iterate on content strategy.
- Reviewing, editing, and approving content.
- Collaborating with SEO, Monetization, and Analytics teams.
- Mentoring and managing a team of writers and editors.
- Introducing editorial experiments to improve content performance.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of digital editorial leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead high-volume editorial operations.
- Fluency in content syndication platforms.
- Mastery of Looker and Google Sheets.
- Adept at leading a team and developing scalable strategies.
- Exceptional editorial judgment and creative ideation skills.
- Openness to AI in workflow and content creation.
