Job Description

Launch Potato is seeking a Director of Syndication at FinanceBuzz to define and lead the content strategy across syndication platforms. The Director will set the editorial vision, refine the brand voice, and create a roadmap for revenue and audience growth. They will analyze data, develop content strategies, and work with the Editorial Operations Manager to ensure efficient production. This role involves hands-on work, including sprint planning, editing, and headline writing. The Director will oversee a high-performing editorial team, mentor senior staff, and make data-driven decisions.Role involves:

• Defining and leading content strategy across syndication platforms
• Maintaining FinanceBuzz’s editorial voice
• Monitoring performance data to iterate on content strategy
• Reviewing, editing, and approving content
• Collaborating with SEO, Monetization, and Analytics teams
• Mentoring and managing a team of writers and editors
• Introducing editorial experiments

Requirements:

• Proven ability to lead high-volume editorial operations
• Fluency in content syndication platforms
• Data-obsessed mindset with strong analytical skills
• Adept at leading a team and developing scalable strategies
• Exceptional editorial judgment and creative ideation skills
• 7+ years of digital editorial leadership experience
