Director of Content, Syndication Strategy

Job Description

Launch Potato is seeking a Director of Content, Syndication Strategy to lead the content strategy for FinanceBuzz across platforms like MSN, Apple News, and NewsBreak. The Director will define the editorial vision, refine the brand voice, and create a roadmap for revenue and audience growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in daily execution, including data analysis, content optimization, and team mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead content strategy across syndication platforms.
• Maintain editorial voice and quality across a high-volume production pipeline.
• Monitor performance data to iterate on content strategy.
• Review, edit, and approve content to uphold editorial standards.
• Collaborate with SEO, Monetization, and Analytics teams.
• Mentor and manage a team of writers and editors.
• Introduce editorial experiments to improve content performance.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of digital editorial leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead high-volume editorial operations.
• Fluency in content syndication platforms.
• Mastery of Looker and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Exceptional editorial judgment and creative ideation skills.
• Open mind around the implementation of AI.
