Job Description

Launch Potato is seeking a Director of Syndicated Content for FinanceBuzz. In this role, the Director will define and lead the strategic direction of content across key syndication platforms, including MSN, Apple News, and NewsBreak. They will set the editorial vision, refine the brand voice, and create a roadmap for long-term revenue and audience growth. The Director will analyze data, develop content strategies, and work closely with the Editorial Operations Manager to ensure efficient production.Role involves:

• Defining and leading content strategy across syndication platforms.
• Maintaining FinanceBuzz’s editorial voice.
• Monitoring performance data to iterate on content strategy.
• Reviewing, editing, and approving content.
• Collaborating with SEO, Monetization, and Analytics teams.
• Mentoring and managing a team of writers and editors.
• Introducing editorial experiments.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to lead high-volume editorial operations.
• Fluency in content syndication platforms.
• Data-obsessed mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Adept at leading a team and developing scalable strategies.
• Exceptional editorial judgment and creative ideation skills.
• An open mind around the implementation of AI.
• 7+ years of digital editorial leadership experience.
