Assistant/Associate Scientist I - Lyophilization

Job Description

Alamar Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated Assistant or Associate Scientist I to join their Product Development team. This role supports the company's mission to transform proteomics for early disease detection. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and innovative, working closely with the Principal Scientist - Lyophilization.Role involves:

• Designing and executing experiments to generate high-quality data.
• Performing data analysis, constructing graphs, and reporting results.
• Maintaining accurate records of experimental work.
• Planning and performing lyophilization activities.
• Performing root cause investigation and corrective actions.
• Assuming additional departmental responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• BS degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience running ELISA, qPCR, or other related immunoassay platform assay.
• Hands-on experience in lyophilization is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
• Ability to exercise practical judgment and apply knowledge/skills to suit situations.
• Innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple complex projects.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
